Catherine Bowdler is a contemporary British screenprinter from The Black Country in the UK.
With a degree in screen printed textiles, she now predominantly prints on paper and is known for prints of the natural world, many of which can still be found in galleries across the U.K. Following two years developmental work and abstract exploration, Catherine's practice still prioritises composition, colour and clarity, irrespective of subject.
Recent works are concerned with the interplay between solid blocks, texture and negative space. She is particularly interested in the points at which forms meet, and the gaps between.
